Puerto Vallarta may have started out as a sleepy little town but those days are over.  30 story high rises, traffic congestion and a 24 hour Walmart are now the norm.  This is not necessarily a bad thing as many people want amenities and the luxuries that go along with it.

It has been said that you can eat at a different restaurant in Vallarta every night...for two years.  Plenty of night clubs and other entertainment can keep you going until the early hours of morning.

Home Depot, Costco, Sams, and plenty of other U.S. stores will make sure you find what you are looking for.  Before these were here, it was TOUGH!!!

P.V. has plenty of different areas that all offer different feels.  Ocean front, historic, mountain, jungle, and more!  There are even properties in the Hotel Zone so you can be in the middle of everything.

For those that want to experience the way it was, consider Bucerias or La Cruz.
